Lily Allen has pulled out of European festivals after being ordered to take two weeks off by doctors.

The Littlest Things singer revealed all in a blog post which includes a photo of her holding the medical certificate.

She said: I've got sinusitis and strep throat (I don't even know what that is) and have been advised to take a couple of weeks off by a doctor in LA and a doctor here (in the UK).

Cancelled shows are Oya Festival in Norway, Way Out West in Sweden, Sagres in Portugal and Lowlands Festival in Holland.

Explaing how she got ill the pop queen says: Ive have literally been around the whole world in two weeks. Im afraid the travelling has caught up with me.

Allen adds that she hopes to be well for V Festival on next weekend. Appealing to fans she writes: I hope people can understand and arent too angry.
