Limp Bizkit Confirm Reunion

The original line-up are back after eight years away

Limp Bizkit have confirmed they will reunite for a world tour and new album.

The original line-up of Fred Durst, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal are going to get back together for the first time in eight years.

The comeback trail for the band will start with festivals in Eastern Europe this Spring before playing both Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in Germany. No UK dates have been announced yet.

A statement from Durst and Borland- who fell out during the bands first spell together- said: "We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other."

Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back.

After touring the band will record their first new album together since 2000. Their first three albums sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
