Lindsay Lohan has made the ultimate blunder when it comes to posting 'inspirational' quotes on Instagram, and we think she might want to start double checking their meanings from now on!

The actress posted an Arabic quote on the social media site with an English translation beneath, which read "You're beautiful".

However, fans were quick to break the news to LiLo that the quote actually means "You're a donkey", which doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Reporter Jenan Moussa soonwarned Linsday of her error, adding: "Next time @lindsaylohan, let me check b4 u post :-) Arabic words don't mean 'U are beautiful' but 'u are a donkey'"

Might we suggest just sticking to the language you know best, Lindsay?
