LiLo Will Not Be Released This Month
A prison spokesperson has confirmed she won't be released on Friday...
Jailed Lindsay Lohan will not be released before August, according to a spokesman at the Century Regional Correctional Facility in Lynwood, California where she is behind bars.
The Mean Girls actress, who is only 6 days into her 90 day prison sentence which she received for breaching terms of her probation for a 2007 DUI offence had hoped to be released this week due to overcrowding but a prison spokesperson has denied the claims.
LA County Sheriff's Department representative Steve Whitmore said: "She won't be released this week."
LiLo's sentence has already been reduced to 88 days because of the two days she has already spent in custody with some sources saying she could be free on 1st August.
The star also received a second visit from her mother Dina and sister Ali yesterday after they were not allowed to see her over the weekend.
A prison source claimed: "Lindsay might get visitors after the official visiting hours are over for the other inmates for security reasons. It's for the safety of everyone."
Lindsay is said to have settled into jail life well and is even said to have made friends with other inmates.
