Lindsay Lohan has announced her next film project, a psychological thriller called Inconceivable.

The troubled starlet – who this year celebrates the 10th anniversary of her break-out hit Mean Girls – will also be producing the new flick.

The actress’ last movie, The Canyons, also starred adult film actor James Deen and was widely panned by critics.

“I've never had the honor of coming here before... to bring something to the table, which is starting fresh for me," Lohan stated during a press conference at the Sundance Film Festival, reports E!.

"It's a nice change to be back among people that are in the industry that I've been in since I was a kid."

Coincidentally, Tyra Banks – who co-starred with a 12-year old Lohan in 2000 film Lifesize – also announced yesterday that she is making a sequel to Lifesize.

“Tis true,” the America’s Next Top Model host said on Twitter. Sadly, it is unlikely Lindsay will feature in the follow-up flick.

One fan who will be watching the sequel either way, however, is Miley Cyrus.

In response to the news she tweeted: “OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG #lifesize #thesequel @tyrabanks.”
