Lindsay Lohan Claims Her New Reality Show Doesn't Represent Reality
The Mean Girls actress also revealed she doesn't have editorial control over the show...
Lindsay Lohan may be the star of a new reality TV show – simply called ‘Lindsay’ – but the actress says the show doesn’t necessarily represent reality.
“It’s edited very differently,” the star said during an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman.
“I saw part of it last night and some things were said that actually didn’t occur and, you know, it’s taken out of context a bit but that creates the drama and the spectacle and I think that, that’s writing so I get it.”
LiLo was also keen to state that she doesn’t have any editorial control over the show, explaining: “I’m a producer but I don’t have control over that aspect of it.”
“It’s pretty raw, it’s just me sorting out life again and figuring things out and taking new steps and living sober-minded,” she said of the show, which is also being produced by Oprah Winfrey. “It’s a process.”
In last week’s episode Lindsay was seen pole-dancing during an exercise class and the former Disney star – who recorded four albums during a previous career as a singer, as well as a hit single Rumours – promised that in upcoming episodes, fans would see her singing karaoke with her sister Ali and cooking.
She told Letterman: “I make really good scrambled eggs!”
