Lindsay Lohan Completes Her Probation
Actress thanks judge after being given freedom by LA court...
Lindsay Lohan has been granted her freedom, being released from her probation by a judge in Los Angeles.
The troubled actress has been through a constant series of court hearings over the last two years, as well as being subjected to a court-ordered sobriety programme.
Li-Lo thanks Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner for her patience and was praised for completing all the requirements of her strict probation, which included working on clean-up duty at the morgue and taking part in counselling sessions.
She told the judge: "I just want to say thank you for being fair. It's really opened a lot of doors for me."
And in turn Judge Sautner told her: "You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work."
Li-Lo's spokesperson said afterwards that it marked the end of one chapter in her life and the beginning of another.
She is soon to play film star Elizabeth Taylor in a TV movie and to appear as a guest star on hit show Glee, which had previously clashed with her mum over a joke about Li-Lo.
