Lindsay Lohan Confirmed For West End Play
Troubled star playing role made famous by Madonna in David Mamet show...
She's in our newspapers, on our TV screens and a permanent resident of our websites - and now Lindsay Lohan is set to appear on stage in Britain too.
The troubled actress - currently living in London - has been confirmed as a cast member for a play opening in the West End.
Theatre Royal Bath Productions has confirmed that the 27-year-old hot mess will be playing Karen in a new production of acclaimed playwright David Mamet's Speed The Plow - a satire on the movie biz.
The show originally opened back in 1988 on Broadway - with Madonna playing the same role. Alicia Silverstone and Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss have also previously played Karen in previous productions.
The new show is set to open on 24 September at the Playhouse Theatre and will run until late November.
