Lindsay Lohan 'Selling Clothes To Pay Off Tax Debt'
LiLo apparently sent her sister Ali to shift her designer garments for cash...
According to Radar Online, the Liz & Dick actress sent her young sister Ali to a vintage clothing store in LA to sell her most valuable clothes, shoes and accessories in a bid to settle her money problems.
As we previously reported, the IRS apparently seized LiLo's bank accounts after she failed to pay an outstanding tax debt, thought to be for over $200,000.
A source told the website that Ali's attempt at raising money for Lindsay wasn't as successful as they had hoped, with the 18-year old allegedly being overhead saying: "Thirty dollars for these? They cost $700! This is ridiculous!”
She then tried to convince high-end store Wasteland to fork out more cash for Lohan's belongings, apparently insisting: "These have to be worth more, Lindsay was photographed wearing them, that has to add value.”
The insider later added that Ali failed to sell Lindsay's clothes.
Earlier this month, LiLo was charged with assaulting a woman in a NYC nightclub, as well as apparently refusing to go to rehab for her alleged problem with alcohol.
