Lindsay Lohan is facing up to another spell behind bars after she was sentenced to 120 days jail for violating her probation on a 2007 drink-driving conviction.
The 24-year-old Mean Girls star pleaded not guilty to the charge of stealing a £1,500 necklace from a Los Angeles jewellers.
Judge Sautner refused to throw out the theft charge and ruled Lilo had breached her probation over a 2007 drink drive case and sentenced her to 120 days.
Sautner said: “I see intent here. I see a level of brazenness with ‘Let me see what I can get away with’.”
Lohan was freed on $75,000 (£45,413) bail and her legal team are planning to appeal against the sentence.
