Lindsay Lohan To Host SNL Next Month
Lindsay Lohanwill host hit US TV show Saturday Night Live on 3rd March.
Despite finding herself on the [uuid=b3d6ad3b-84a2-4366-8704-4df8d7b1c49a]wrong side of the law last year[/uuid], LiLo is set to front the series for the fourth time - her last stint being in 2006.
The Mean Girls actress seemed very excited when announcing the news on Twitter, telling her followers: "SNL! I love @NBC !!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The 25-year old then changed her Twitter profile picture to the comedy-sketch show's promo advertisement.
Before Lohan's tweet, NBC had already confirmed she would be returning to host the show in an on-air promo.
On the SNL Twitter page, it also said: "That's right: March 3rd, Lindsay Lohan with musical guest Jack White! See you then!"
Lindsay's spokesman Steve Honig has since stated: "Lindsay is extremely excited about hosting 'SNL' and working with all the talented cast and writers,"
Her mother and manager Dina Lohan added: "We thank Lorne Michaels for believing in Linds. The tabloids have been harsh and it is behind us now!"
TMZ.com claims that it was Lindsay herself who approached SNL creator and executive producer Michaels about hosting the show, after seeing him as a father figure over the last few years.
