Lindsay Lohan's Jail Sentence Delayed For Playboy Shoot
The actress was given a 30 day jail term for violating her probation...
LiLo was handed the prison term yesterday after failing to complete a court-ordered community service, which was given as punishment after it was alleged she stole a necklace from a jewellery store back in January.
After admitting she had failed to serve the 360 hours of community service, Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner sentenced the Mean Girls star to 30 days behind bars. Lohan must surrender to prison by November 9.
According to TMZ, her jail term has been delayed to allow the 25-year old to complete a nude photoshoot for Playboy.
Lohan must complete the $1million session with the infamous lads mag at some point this week, or she will find herself in breach of contract.
The celebrity gossip website also claims that Lohan - who could have received up to a year in jail for violating her probation - was happy by the judges' decision and mouthed "Thank God" as she left court.
Due to prison overcrowding, it's likely that LiLo will only serve six days of her sentence, but officials from the LA Sherriff's Department claimed she will "be out [of prison] without even having to change her clothes" - which is standard procedure for short-term convictions.
Lohan is also required to complete all of her required community service and have psychotherapy session before 29th March 2012, or she could face 270 days in the slammer.
