Linkin Park fans listen up: wanna get an exclusive sneak preview of the bands stunning new album, Minutes To Midnight?
Well then youre in the right place. From Wednesday May 9 you can listen to the first six tracks from the record right here on MTV.co.uk. Then, on Friday May 11 well get the rest of the album " and remember, it doesnt hit the shops until the following Monday.
The apocalyptic title refers to the impending destruction of the world following multiple nuclear strikes " but Mike Shinoda says its also a tongue-in-cheek reference to the current state of the music industry. The cheeky beggar!
Mike co-produced the record with the legendary Rick Rubin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jay-Z), and according to guitarist Brad Delson, over the three years it took to finish, the band worked on nearly 150 songs. They shouldnt be short of B-sides for a while.
Youll be able to find our Leak (did we mention its an exclusive?) all over the MTV2 site and the MTV UK music pages from Wednesday morning. Minutes To Midnight hits the shops on Monday May 14.
