Little Mix Break Spice Girls US Chart Record!

X Factor girlband left 'shell-shocked' their success in America...

Little Mixhave broken a US chart record set by girlband legends the Spice Girlswith their debut record, DNA.

The X Factor 2011 winner's album has reached No.4 on the US Billboard Chart - meaning that they have become the first British girl group ever to have a LP debut within the top 5 on the US Billboard 200.

The achievement means Little Mix have eclipsed the previous record held by Posh Spice and Co's first album Spice, which hit No.6 back in 1997.

Little Mixer Jesy Nelson has since stated that they are "shell-shocked" by the success.

She told Capital FM: You know what, we feel a little bit shell-shocked. We just feel a bit overwhelmed to be honest."

Perrie Edwards agreed: "Yeah, but we're very very thankful. We're just sat going, 'Woah, we have the best fans in the world for getting us to this stage. It's just incredible'."

Nelson added: "We've always said we wanted to be as big as the Spice Girls and that's what we're hoping to do."
