They kicked off their Get Weird tour earlier this week in Cardiff, and while Little Mix have been busy slaying their harmonies and choreo, some people have decided to focus on their stage outfits instead. Yawn.

But now, the girls have hit back at the criticism of their looks being too ‘sexy’ and have essentially said they’re going to wear whatever the hell they want.

Chatting to the Mirror, Perrie admitted that while the group never wants to come off as trying to cause a drama with their outfits, they also like showing off their bodies from time to time. IMAGINE THAT, EH.

She told the paper: “We wear what we feel comfortable in. We’re not overly sexy in what we do anyway. We go for sexy/cute. We’d never want to be scandalous.

“I think we’ve got the right kind of balance. Some of us are 24. We aren’t going to be able to wear stuff like this for the rest of our life, and parade around in little dresses and stuff, but at the same time… we’re just girls.

“The way I see it, when I see Leigh-Anne in a bikini on holiday, I don’t think, ‘Oh God, Leigh-Anne, put it away’.

“I look at her and think, ‘Yes girl, you’ve got one of the most insane figures I’ve ever seen. You f***ing rock that on the beach, because I would’. Girls should be like that.

“We need to encourage each other and if you don’t want to have your body out then you don’t have to.

“I never used to want to get my figure out, but now I’m like, ‘Yes, here it is’.”

Excuse us while we let out a slight feminist yelp of joy.

Leigh-Anne also weighed in on the debate, adding: “If we weren’t comfortable we just wouldn’t wear it.

“It’s not about being overly sexy, but it’s showing off your assets that you want to show off and if you feel confident in it, then boom.”
