Little Mix Just Equalled Destiny's Child's Chart Record, Proving They're Awesome As Ever

Little Mix have continued to slay their way into 2017 as their latest album'Glory Days' just racked up a fourth non-consecutive week as the Official UK Albums Chart No.1, meaning they've just equalled the might of super girl group Destiny's Child.

In 2001, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williamslogged four weeks at No.1 with 'Survivor', which to date saw them have the longest-running girl group No.1 album of the millennium. But not anymore!

'Glory Days'however still has a way to go to beat all time girl group Spice Girls, who's debut self-titled LP is still theone to beat, which spent 15 weeks at the top across 1996-97.

Elsewhere, Little Mix saw off competition from Pete Tong & The Heritage Orchestra's 'Club Classics' album which jumped 22 places to No.2 this week followingtheir performance of Fatboy Slim's 'Right Here, Right Now' and Shapeshifters''Lola's Theme' on The Graham Norton's New Year's Eve Show.

Meanwhile, Little Mix's 'Touch' holds firm at No.4 onthe Official UK Singles Chart Top 40whileClean Bandit spend a NINTH week at No.1 with 'Rockabye', equalling nine-week runs from both Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy' and Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Two Tribes'.

The Weeknd's 'Starboy' rebounds to No.5, NEIKED climbs five places to No.6 with 'Sexual' and MTV Brand New For 2017 nomineeJP Cooper grabs his UK Top 40 solo debut with 'September Song' climbing this week to No.16.
