Little Mix Leigh-Anne 'Nearly Died' In Stage Accident

Girl group member was knocked to the floor by falling prop at US show...

Little Mix member Leigh-Anne Pinnock has revealed that she "nearly died" after being hit by a falling prop at a show in the US.

The X Factor-winning girl group were supporting Fifth Harmony on a tour of the US when the accident happened at one of the gigs.

Her bandmate Perrie Edwards began the story as the girls chatted with MTV News: "Leigh-Anne is the most dramatic person you will ever meet, but this time bless her because honestly my heart went out to her.

"Fifth Harmony have these things [props], and obviously no one knew they were going to be wobbling like the way they were. And then we were just doing our own thing and then the next thing you know this thing just comes down and cracks Leigh-Anne on the head."

And Leigh-Anne continued: "And then I fell to the floor and the mic went into my nose. I got a nice big lip, but I didn't put any ice on it because I wanted it to stay plump. It's a miracle really."

Meanwhile Jesy Nelson enthused about the reaction that the girls have been getting Stateside.

"It's better than we could have imagined," she said. "We never knew what to expect when we came here, and the audience has been absolutely incredible.

"They know all the words to the songs and we still get shocked when we put the mic up and we sing Wings and they all sing back."
