Over the past few years, Little Mix have released some of the biggest singles in British music. From the empowering'Wings' and the brooding 'DNA' to the experimental'Move' and the euphoric 'Black Magic', it's no secret that Little Mix have a way with pop.

And now the girls' iconic kiss off 'Shout Out to My Ex' has just become their first Double Platinum single in the UK.

'Shout Out to My Ex' overtook 'Black Magic' and became Little Mix's bestselling single in the UK last year. Now, Little MixjoinFifth Harmony, All Saints and the Spice Girls as the only girl groups with hits that have sold over 1.2 million chart units in the UK.

The only other Double Platinum girl group singles in the UK are 'Wannabe', 'Never Ever' and 'Work from Home'.

That's not all though. Little Mix's next two biggest singles are both close to being certified Double Platinum by BPI too. 'Black Magic' has sold over 1.15 million copies since its release in 2015 and 'Touch' has almost sold 1.1 million copies in the UK so far.

Considering that both are still extremely popular, we imagine that they will go 2x Platinum by the end of 2018.

If so, Little Mix will become the only girl group in British chart history with more than one Double Platinum hit.

The 'Salute' superstars are currently in the process of recording a new album that's due for release this year.

Taking this into account, wereckonthat the iconic foursome will be breaking massive records all year long.
