Kasabian Krack It!
Kasabian take the Wembley gig up a gear...
Kasabian, the first kick ass rock band of the day, exploded onto the stage at almost half three wearing a motley collection of classic suits and one of the best Union Jack shirts out there.
They started with Empire, before Tom Meighan spoke to the crowd for the first time: "I just want to address the whole world, wherever you are - save your energy!!" he bellowed. "Because I can't!"
That's honest, Tom They followed Empire with Club Foot, during which you could really see the crowd beginning to switch. Kasabian were starting to roll, and Wembley was coming with them.
Before finishing, he addressed the crowd again: "Let's put a message out, man! Save the polar bears. Let's save our children's children - or at least have a go!"
Then the group launched into a ball breaking rendition of LSF that ended with Meighan dividing the crowd into three to join him for the finale.
During the track we caught a few shots of Liam Gallagher, looking more than a little miffed that he wasn't out there, and it wasn't surprising - Kasabian. Were. Stunning!
