Keane Say Get Off Your Backsides
The chubby faced little warbler says how important it is that everybody does their part
Keane frontman Tom Chaplin has spoken of the importance of Live Earth for our generation, and called for everybody to get off their arses.
Speaking before introducing Bedshaped, the last song in their set which also featured hits Somewhere Only We Know and Is It Any Wonder, Chaplin got serious. You know what? We are here on a momentous day for the people of our generation, he said. Because today is the beginning of a very long journey.
But its gonna be a great journey. Because together we can get our backsides and do something for the future of mankind and thats a beautiful thing in here tonight.
Then following Keane was Enrique, who did his bit for Earth by dancing around the stage with his big mole and cute buns.
Rock gods Metallica have just started. Theyre currently kicking the crap out of their classic Sad But True.
