Ninth Live Earth Gig Announced

As Razorlight step to the stage, a mammoth 9th gig has been confirmed for Live Earth

Razorlight were the second act to walk through the Wembley arch this afternoon, starting, predictably for such an early set, with In The Morning.

Johnny Borrell didnt really banter with the crowd at all during his 4 song set, which would certainly suggest that, especially at this early stage, the organisers are trying to keep the show moving forward.

The stadium is filling up by now - 2:30pm - and it's starting to resemble the Wembley we remember from Live Aid, and the sun is still shining! It seems the weather Gods approve of the gig - not a bad thing at all!

Meanwhile, organizers have confirmed that an astonishing 9th Live Earth Gig will bet taking place in Washington D.C. - this one will be particularly appreciated by the Godfather of the event, Al Gore, who would want nothing more than an decent set on the doorstep of the senate.

A total of 150 acts will appear during the day today
