It’s a sad day for noughties pop, following the news that Abz from 5ive is selling his BRIT Award for Newcomer Best Pop Act 2000 on Ebay.

Well, not that sad, it’s already going for well over £5k.

The 36-year-old posted his gong on the auction site Monday morning, citing the reason for selling it is to buy some top soil and gardening tools for his farm.

The real clincher for us, however, has to be that the statue may or may not have been held by everyone’s fave movie hard man: The Stath.

Abz wrote: “Has been held by Jason Statham although I can not prove this.”

Amazing.

So, if you fancy buying up a piece of real pop history you best be quick as bidding finishes on Thursday.
