Lorde Crowned Billboard's Most Powerful Young Popstar Of 2014
Lorde has been crowned the most influential popstar under the age of 21 by Billboard magazine.
The 17-year old has beaten the likes of 5 Seconds Of Summer, Justin Bieber and Martin Garrix to the accolade.
[related]Lorde has enjoyed huge worldwide success with her debut album Pure Heroine, and has climbed from sixth place on last year's list.
One Direction were previously named the most influential young popstars of 2013, but seeing as a number of the lads are now over 21, they are no longer eligible.
5SOS finished behind Lorde in second place, while Justin Bieber came third. 18-year old Dutch DJ Martin Garrix was in fourth position.
X Factor USA group Fifth Harmony, Austin Mahone and The Vamps alsp featurein the Top 21.
