Lostprophets frontman has been in custody since 19 December, and was scheduled to appear in court today (31 December).

According to theDaily Mail, the 35-year-old - who [uuid=938f93b9-4c03-44d1-ac4e-6c8aa9a27ea1]faces six charges[/uuid], including conspiring to engage in sexual activity with a child under the age of 13 - appeared via video link at Cardiff Crown Court.

The Mail also reports that Watkins, along with two women who cannot be named for legal reasons, spoke only to confirm his name.

All three will remain in custody until 11 March.

Defending barrister Tom Crowther has previously said that Watkins would be denying the charges.
