The day is upon us, people. Louis Tomlinson is now officially a dad, and we are FEELING THINGS ABOUT IT.

People magazine have confirmed that the One Direction star and Briana Jungwirth have welcomed a son in Los Angeles… And that’s about all we know so far.

While the countdown to baby 1D has been on all month, Louis’ former stepfather seemed to give the game away with a sly tweet.

He posted: “Is that the patter of tiny feet?”

Though there’s no word from Louis yet, a mutual friend of his and Briana’s previously told People: “Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother.”

Well… this has happened, then. We think we need a lie down for a bit.
