Zayn And The 1D Boys Tweet Their Sorrow To Louis Tomlinson Following The Death Of His Mother
Tragic time for the ex-1D star
The news that Louis Tomlinson’s mother, Johannah Deakin, passed away on Wednesday following a battle with leukaemia was shockingly sad. Since the announcement was made on Friday 9th December, Louis friends have been openly expressing their sadness on Twitter.
The midwife was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year. She leaves behind two-year-old twins, Ernest and Doris, Lottie, 18, Felicite, 16 and Louis.
Zayn Malik reached out to his old bandmate with a tweet telling the 24-year-old he was “proud” of Louis’ strength and that he knew his mum would be, too. It's the first time the star has reached out to Louis following their Twitter spat over Naughty Boy in March 2015. Following the very public fall out Louis told Jonathan Ross that they hadn't spoken for a while.
Liam Payne and Niall Horan both tweeted their sorrow, with Liam posting a lengthy speech about how his heart “breaks” for his “brother.” Niall sent two heartfelt tweets, the second saying he was sending “love from my family to yours.”
Liam’s girlfriend Cheryl also sent her love as did Louis old mentor Simon Cowell who said “Jay was an incredible person.” Harry Styles has yet to put any public messages on his social media.
Louis has said he will perform on tonight’s X Factor in tribute to his mum, who was only 42-years-old when she died.
