It may feel like forever ago that One Direction ~temporarily~ went their separate ways, flinging that ‘hiatus’ word around as they dodged questions about what it exactly all meant.

But seeing as they’ve each already achieved more than we’d ever expected, surely it’s about time they put the band back together, right?

NOPE. During a chat to promote his and Steve Aoki’s new song ‘Just Hold On’ over at The Today Show, Louis explained that they still haven’t put a date in the diary. Not even in pencil.

"There's time for that," Louis told the hosts. "Nobody knows when. I think we're enjoying a bit of time to ourselves, exploring our own solo things."

And while we’re obsessed with Niall’s first single, Harry’s acting skills in the Dunkirk trailer and Liam’s potential baby news/collabs with huge musicians, we’d really quite like to see our four faves back in the same room again.

But not a moment before we get a music video for JHO, Louis.
