Louis Tomlinson Proves He's A Fairy Godmother In Disguise As He Saves Couple Stranded In Vietnam
Bippity boppity boo.
Louis Tomlinson has proven once again that he really is quite the good samaritan, this time having donated money to one lucky British couple.
The One Direction singer gave a 'sizeable' amount to two British backpackers, Rhys Sykes and Sarah Liddle, who are from Doncaster but recently found themselves stranded in Vietnam after a serious motorbike accident.
Having started a crowd funding campaign to raise money to pay for medical treatment for Sarah's broken leg, Louis is said to have given enough to cover the cost of their flights home.
"Louis heard about our appeal to get Rhys and Sarah home and his mum got in touch saying how upset he was to hear about what had happened and how he would like to help. He gave a very sizeable donation to the fund and we would like to say a very big thank you to Louis and his family for being so kind," Sarah's auntie, Julie, told the Doncaster Free Press.
After originally being told that a special evacuation flight would cost £15,000, the couple's cash appeal drew in more than £4,500 which was enough to cover normal charter flights which they were eventually allowed on.
Currently recovering in Sheffield, we've got our fingers crossed that they get better soon!
