Louis Tomlinson Says There’s ‘No Bitterness’ Between The 1D Lads
After losing his beloved mum to cancer recently, Louis Tomlinson went on to perform his debut solo single on 'The X Factor 'stage. The star bravely belted out his hit Just Hold On and has now revealed how much the support of his fellow One Direction bandmates meant to him.
In an interview with 'Rolling Stone', Louis said, “'When I was on 'The X Factor', it was really nice all the boys came to support me and I think that’s what it’s all about. People love to write what they want to write but there’s no bitterness.”
Zayn Malik ended the rift he and Louis had shared by tweeting his support to the star following the death of his mother, Johannah Deakin when she lost her battle with leukaemia in December, 2016.
According to Louis, the band are happy “exploring solo project” at the moment and he isn’t sure about a reunion.
“No one knows the answer right now. Everyone’s just enjoying a schedule that’s not as relentless.”
Niall Horan was a little more optimistic, telling Nova’s Smallzy Surgery that a reunion is definitely on the cards.
“It will definitely happen of course! As I’ve said many times, we’d be stupid not to. It’s going to be good when it happens.”
But when pushed for a possible timeframe Niall admitted he didn’t know when the eventual reunion will actually take place.
