We sat down with the lovely Louis Tomlinson to ask him some of your questions and he did not let you down!

The ‘Back To You’ singer opened up about his debut album, solo life, the possibility of a world tour and even revisited some of his favourite One Direction memories as he chatted to Becca Dudley in the upcoming 'MTV Asks Louis Tomlinson' show.

While he says being a solo artist is “definitely a lot harder” than being in the band, Louis couldn’t be more proud of the music he has ready for us as he gushed about the album and one very special song in particular.

“There’s a song called ‘Always You’ that I’ve been obsessed with since the day that I wrote it. I’ve got the strongest personal attachment to that one.”

Even the title is getting us emotional, could this be about his son? His long-term girlfriend? The fans? It’s too much!

When asked what song he’s most proud to have written, he says “it’s probably the stuff that I’ve written for this record just because I’ve really kind of opened up and been super honest about it.”

Although, he does tell us one very special One Direction song he co-wrote with Liam Payne that has left a fond memory in his heart…

“I remember one of the first songs we wrote, we started to develop what then became ‘Midnight Memories’ and it was just a real magic moment in the room. It’s something I’d not really felt as a writer before. It all kind of just happened very quickly in the space of 45 minutes.”

That’s always been one of our favourites too, Louis!
