With all the commotion that is Christmas, it seems some of the One Direction lads forgot it was bandmate Louis Tomlinson's birthday.

With the singer turning 24 on Christmas Eve, it was only Niall Horan that wished his pal many happy returns, but there was nothing from Harry Styles or Liam Payne...

Usually the band are very vocal on social media such as Twitter, but perhaps they were a little busy and distracted the day before Christmas?

But Louis didn't seem to mind to much, as he got over a quarter of a million retweets when he thanked everybody for the kind birthday wishes, Awww....

We're such the rest of the 1D boys wished him a happy birthday in person and gave him some awesome presents when they did catch up wth him!

SO what did Louis do instead? He only went and got a tattoo on his, ahem, bottom, of all places.
