The Reason Why Louis Tomlinson Always Poses Like This On The Red Carpet Is Actually Really Clever
Well, the potential reason.
You might think that you know everything there is to know about One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, and yeah, you probably do. But all that aside, we bet you didn't know the apparent reason behind his signature red carpet pose.
If you've ever gazed upon the lads' red carpet pics - which we're going to go ahead and assume that every sentient human in the land has - then you've probably noticed that Louis has a very particular stance when they all pose together.
While Harry Styles is all about the hands behind the back and Niall Horan is more about the classic hands in the pockets and grin sort of look, you'll often notice Louis doing a legs apart stance that looks a little something like this:
Well, as one keen-eyed 1D fan has noticed from hours and hours of highly (un)scientific research, there might just be a bit of a reason he does this and it's all to do with his height. While he's not the shortest in the band (hiya Niall), Louis isn't the tallest either, yet in loads of red carpet pics he always seems to be towering over the others, even when Harry's wearing his beloved heeled boots.
According to the internet, Louis comes in at 5ft 8 while Liam is 5ft 10 and Harry is 5ft 11. We don't know this for sure as we don't have a measuring tape to hand, but we're going to go ahead and trust the internet, because the internet just knows everything, okay?
Anyway, the point to this whole thing is that if you look at Louis' feet in most group shots, you'll probably notice that he always seems to be standing further forward than the others. Whether this really is to make himlevel in height with Harry and Liam, or he's just acting as a human shield between the paps and his pals, we may never know.
But once you notice it, you really can't stop noticing it.

And proving just how long it's been going on, here:
Oh he's just so clever and wise, whether it's intentional or not.
So yeah, that was a pretty serious and in-depth over-analysis of the way Louis stands having his picture taken, but don't even to pretend you didn't enjoy an excuse to look at his face for a bit longer than usual.
