Louis Walsh: Ronan Keating Is A Karaoke Artist
Talent show judge re-opens feud with former Boyzone frontman…
Louis Walsh has re-ignited his long-standing feud with Ronan Keating, labelling him a “karaoke singer”.
The veteran X Factor judge, who famously fell out with Keating after the singer dumped him as his manager, made the comments in an interview with The Times' magazine.
When asked about his relationship with the former Boyzone frontman, Walsh, said they were “no longer on good terms.”
He described Keating as a "little manufactured popstar who actually believed his own publicity”.
He added: "Ronan thought he was George Michael... He said he didn't want to be a karaoke artist. Well that's what he is."
The music manager, 61, also had some harsh words for fellow X Factor judge Gary Barlow, suggesting that the singer’s weight gain had contributed to his career demise.
Walsh did have a nice word to say about someone though – revealing that he thinks show boss Simon Cowell deserves to be knighted.
Louis and Paula Abdul will appear as judges in a one-off X Factor worldwide special.
