Louis Walsh Takes A Swipe At Cheryl
Cheryl Cole by suggesting that Nadine Coyle could have enjoyed the same success if she had married a famous footballer.
Speaking to Girls Aloud’s Nadine deserved to be a big star – and implied that Cheryl has only done so well because she married footballer Ashley Cole.
Louis, who managed the girl group following their win on 2002 talent show Popstars: The Rivals, was reflecting on why Nadine’s solo album Insatiable (released during GA's hiatus) only managed to get to No 47 in the UK albums chart.
"She didn't marry a footballer. If she'd married a footballer, she'd have been a big star," he told the paper.
Just last week [uuid=7275546a-1102-4f8f-bfcd-845bc8af4205]Louis had a dig at the group[/uuid], suggesting they must be re-uniting "for the money" and questioning Cheryl's singing abilities.
