A SECOND Love Actually Sequel Is Happening And It Will Have One Big Difference
There will be a US version of the Love Actually sequel.
If like us, you’re still getting over the sight of Hugh Grant killing it to Drake’s Hotline Bling last Friday night, you’ll be hyped to hear that the Love Actually 2 fun doesn’t stop there! No, no… there’s also a special US-only version of the Comic Relief special, with some brand new scenes for another returning star…
Creator Richard Curtis recently revealed that he is working up an alternative cut for American audiences, and Laura Linney has since confirmed that she’s shooting some new scenes for the piece. So will her character finally get her happy ending?
To jog your memory, Linney played Sarah, whose office romance with hottie designer Karl (Rodrigo Santoro) came REALLY close to happening, without actually panning out. No word as yet as to whether Santoro is also returning, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a happily ever after…
The new cut of the film will air on the US version of Red Nose Day, which takes place this year on May 25.
