Love Island’s Do Bits Society Is Back For A Christmas Special Minus A Lot Of The Cast
Ey, who can turn down £10 an hour?
Six months have flown by since this year’s Love Islanders graced our screens on one of the most drama fuelled shows on TV, but now the stars are back in a brand new Christmas special.
ITV have confirmed the TV special that’s set to air later this year, as well as revealing that it will feature almost all of the 2018 contestants. The operative word there is ‘almost.’ There’s a few familiar faces you’re going to miss out on.
Caroline Flack will be returning as the show’s presenter, with the hilarious Iain Stirling back to narrate all of the dramz that is bound to go down.
According to ITV, the one-off show will “pick up where the couples left off. Six months on, whose love has lasted the distance, who has scores to settle, and who is feeling single and ready to mingle once again?”
“Escaping to a festive retreat, the Islanders will lift the lid on the dramatic break ups and tabloid headlines that have played out since departing the villa." Imagine the moment when Sam Bird and Georgia Steel, the high priestess of loyalty, have to discuss their headlines. Awks.
Winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, as well as Kaz Crossley, Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson will all be taking part, but it turns out that fame really does come at a price, £10 an hour in fact. Yep, that’s what this year’s Islanders are reportedly being paid to take part.
The islanders who won’t be making a return include Josh Denzel, who is leaving girlfriend Kaz Crossley to go it alone. Other stars that won’t be back include Rosie Williams, Jack Fowler, Laura Crane, Niall Aslam and Frankie Foster.
We can’t wait for the drama.
