Love Island’s Georgia Weighs In On Kissing Controversy For The First Time Since Leaving The Villa

Was that smooch with Jack Fowler really filmed twice?

Love Island’s Georgia has had her say on all the drama that fell out from her kiss with Jack Fowler and she’s now confirmed all those conspiracy theories that the scenes were shot twice.

For anyone who missed the biggest drama on the ITV2 series this year, people were left up in arms when Georgia went in for a kiss with Laura’s man, who then said the situation was totally one-sided.

That prompted fans to dissect the footage with a finetooth comb, which led to people discovering a second angle from the date that suggests the kiss 'was' actually filmed for a second time.

Since leaving the villa last night, the 20-year-old has now opened up about the situation in an interview with Metro.co.uk: “At the end of the day. It’s a television programme", she commented.

"If anybody is real in that villa it’s me, and I am very honest with who I am. It is a TV programme. Things have to get filmed at different angles and that’s how television works but nothing is fake. Nothing is staged."

Georgia voluntarily left the programme after she and Sam refused to recouple with anyone else in the show. The pair had attempted to date other people in the villa but soon realized their feelings for each other were too strong to ignore.
