Love Island's Kem has shut down reports that he and Amber Davies are already having relationship troubles after an insider claimedthat it's "only a matter of time" before their romancefalls apart.

The rumours about these two finding it hard to adjust to real-life started when a source told The Mirror their "modern day fairytale" was breaking apart at the seams, with Kem's track record on cheating to blame.

“It all looks like the modern day fairytale from the outside, but there is already trouble in paradise,” one pal claimed. “And knowing Kem, it will only be a matter of time before it all goes wrong.

“He always brags about how many women he has slept with, and I have never known him to be faithful to a partner. So I can’t see how this is going to be any different.I hope Amber knows what she is letting herself in for, because he sees this whole thing as a game.

The insider continued:“The nation seems to have got wrapped up in the whole romance because of the way they saw it unfold on TV. But people close to Kem who know him well have heard it all before and know it’s just a joke."

After getting wind of these not-so-positive quotes, Kem took to social-media to point out that neither he or Amber are about to let the false reports affect their relationship. "We are too strong to have immature, false stories affect us.. good effort though [😊] [💕] @Amber_Davies7," he wrote.

Meanwhile, a source close to Kem cleared up some of the accusations thrown at him: “He has never had a relationship before Amber. She is his first girlfriend. Like any young, single man, Kem previously enjoyed going out to clubs and speaking to girls but has never been on more than a handful of dates with the same girl.

They confirmed: “Kem’s relationship with Amber is anything but a showmance. They are very much in love and have been spending nights together at both their houses. She is very special. They’re looking forward to their relationship further developing.”

What with Montana and Alex reportedlyhaving called it quits already, we're just relieved these two are still very much in love.
