Love Island's Runners Up Laura Anderson And Paul Knops 'Split'
This year's Love Island runners up have decided to go their separate ways after two months.
Let's be honest, it's inevitable that some of the Love Island romances are going to end in breakups (it's just life), and the couple we placed second have just bitten the dust.
Laura Anderson and Paul Knops have reportedly split, but tbh, we reckon they had a pretty good run considering they only got together towards the end of the ITV2 show.
“Laura and Paul have been so busy since the show finished and both had holidays planned without each other – so have ended up spending a lot of time apart," a sneaky source blabbed to The Sun.
Statistically speaking, a good chunk of the couples are bound to split up, and tbh we're surprised that loads of them are actually still going strong. Hey Megan and Wes!
Oh, and we must protect Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham's relationship at all costs.
“Paul went to New York for modelling work and on to Burning Man while Laura enjoyed some time back in Dubai where she lived before signing up to Love Island," added the source.
They continued: “They saw each other on Saturday night but only for a personal appearance and things weren’t the same between them so they have decided to cool off their romance.
It's worth noting that neither Laura or Paul have officially announced their split yet, so there's no telling how accurate the unnamed source really is.
But they reckon that they're definitely not ready to chat about it publicly yet.
“Neither of them will be ready to speak about their split in public just yet but they may well do later this week once it has sunk in.”
Some things just aren't meant to be.
