So. Love Island's Welsh hunk, Tom Powell, has revealed that he has spoken to Sophie Gradon since she caused mega dramz by quitting the ITV2 show.

Sophie decided to leave the island after the backlash which came after her break-up with Katie Salmon

Tom took to Twitter to tell his followers they'd been in touch.

He tweeted: "So I just got off the phone to Sophie..."

"Still no idea what's going on."

"We've agreed it's late were gonna speak tomorrow when she's home and settled back in."

Tom was watching as his on-off love interest broke the news that she was quitting to the villa.

Sophie told them: "Guys, I'm going to go. I've been feeling like this for a while. Now, I think my time is done."

Tom tweeted that watching her pack up her bags wasn't easy viewing.

He said: "Not gonna lie.. I am not enjoying watching this tonight."

Sophie has spoken loads about Tom since he left the villa. She even said that he could be 'The One' - gasp.
