Adam Collard has already caused quite a stir on Love Island 2018, but it turns out this isn't his first rodeo when it comes to reality telly.

While the lad previously claimed he turned down the chance to appear on Geordie Shore because it's not his style, he actually did hit the toon back in 2016... as an EXTRA.

The lad told Metro that a producer asked him to appear on the show during a night out: "he said 'do you want to come on Geordie Shore?' I was like 'not really, because it’s not me.' I’m not that type of person," he explained

"Don’t get us wrong, I like going out. But I’m not daft, I’ve got something between my ears at the same time. I wouldn’t want the stereotype of “Oh, let’s go, let’s get fucked.” Like, it’s not me, do you know what I mean? I wouldn’t want to come across that way as well. 

He continued: “I love having a laugh and going out but in between all that I’ve got things I want to do with my life as well. I don’t want to slate the show, but I think Newcastle is more like Love Island than Geordie Shore.”

Marnie Simpson caught wind of Adam's comments, calling him out on Twitter: "Well that's a lie.

"You auditioned for it every series and rejected," she wrote.

Awks! At least he made the cut for Love Island!

P.s. If Adam's current other-half in the villa, Kendall, knew how into three-ways he is it would probably make her current love triangle situation a whole lot easier. Own up Adam!
