Lucy Spraggan has shared the horrifying extent of her injuries after she was targeted in a vicious attack that led toclumps of hair being pulled from her head.

The former X Factor contestant was said to be leaving a gig in Brightonwith her guitarist and wifewhen she was ambushed by a pair of women.

The incident, which both looks and sounds incredibly painful, resulted in Lucy being left with visible cuts and bruises and even bite lacerations on her face.

Having shared the extent of her injuries on Instagram, Lucy praised Sussex Police for investigating the incident and said she was still "sore" from the attack.

In the meantime, two women have been arrested and bailed for their suspected involvement in the crime, with Lucy saying the rest of her European tour will continue as planned.

She added: "It was all very shit and not a great way to finish the UK legs of tour, but hey ho."
