Obama Dismisses Ludacris Support
Luda disses Hilary Clinton, John McCain and George Bush in a new song
Barack Obama has distanced himself from a new Ludacris track which supports the Presidential hopeful. In the song called Politics (Obama Is Here) the I Got Hos rapper slates Hilary Clinton and John McCain whilst calling current president George Bush mentally handicapped. The chorus of the song goes The world is ready for change cos Obama is here, but even that wasnt enough to win over the Democrat. A statement released by his team said: This song is not only outrageously offensive to Senator Clinton, Reverend (Jesse) Jackson, Senator McCain, and President Bush, it is offensive to all of us who are trying to raise our children with the values we hold dear. On Clinton- who lost the Primary race to be the Democrat election candidate- Ludacris says: Hilary hated on you/ so that bitch is irrelevant. Of Republican candidate McCain he raps: McCain don't belong in any chair unless he's paralyzed! Luda- real name Christopher Bridges- is apparently one of Barack Obamas favourite rappers. Rolling Stone revealed both he and Jay Z feature on the potential Presidents iPod. When asked about this his spokesman said: While Ludacris is a talented individual, he should be ashamed of these lyrics. As Barack Obama has said many, many times in the past, rap lyrics today too often perpetuate misogyny, materialism, and degrading images that he doesn't want his daughters or any children exposed to." We hope Barack hasnt got Area Codes, Move Bitch or Whats Your Fantasy on his MP3 player then!
