Lupe Fiasco has told MTV UK he passed on attending the showbiz bash of the year in favour of an early night.

Today the tabs are full of pics from Jay-Z's Royal Albert Hall after-show bash " from a boozy Beyonce falling into the back of her Rolls Royce to Coldplays Chris Martin schmoozing with the man hismelf.

So how come he sacked it off? I just dont like parties so I popped in and said hello.

It did look dope though. Jay-Zs parties are different to anything youve ever been to. This time he had a dinner. Nas and Kelis, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris, Beyonce - they were all there.

And it was good seeing Jay-Z and Nas together again. Their friendship isnt phoney " you can tell that for them its a joy.

Still despite the plaudits Jay-Zs gig's been getting " most critics calling it the best gig theyve ever see " Lupe reckons it wasn't Jigga's best show.

The best one was in Dublin because Dublin fans are insane and non-stop. They react like people do in a football stadium. It was ridiculous. Even Jay couldnt believe it!
