Lupe Loved Banksy's Paris Stunt
Kanye's mate reckons the graffiti artist's joke on Ms Hilton was a master stroke...
Skateboarding hip hop dude Lupe Fiasco loved the stunt graffiti artist Banksy pulled on Paris Hilton recently.
The Bristol-based street artist sabotaged 500 copies of Paz's self-titled debut album, replacing her head in the inlay shots with those of vicious-looking dogs, and got pal Dangermouse to give the tunes a tongue-in-cheek remix.
Lupe, who gives Banksy a shout-on his album 'Food & Liquor' told 'MTV UK News', "He's a genius man. He is THE guy in the world right now, the grand communicator."
And he reckons the raunchy photo shoot-loving, non-stop shopping, party girl got her just desserts.
"I didn't think it was mean at all. Look at the way she puts herself out there.
"The image she portrays is misleading and not cool. Banksy was subtle, not preaching."
Meanwhile the 24-year-old rapper has confided that on his next album he wants to go, er, prog-rock.
"I want to work with Pink Floyd and go insane," he told us.
