Mad Men star Jon Hamm has been causing a stir on the set of the sixties drama, but not for the reasons you might think.

Apparently the actor’s “above average sized member” coupled with the costumes mean there have been a few red faces on set and he’s been asked to wear underwear to prevent any more embarrassment!

A source told the New York Daily News: "This season takes place in the 1960s, where the pants are very tight and leave little to the imagination.
"Jon's impressive anatomy is so distracting that they politely insisted on underwear."

Hamm’s manhood has also been a problem for the teams working on Mad Men promotional material as they’ve had to Photoshop his private parts.

A spokeswoman for Hamm has since said the claims were ‘not true’.
