Mad Men Season Six: Promo Poster Unveiled

Eagerly awaited TV drama to hit our screens in less than a month...

With less than a month to go until the new series of Mad Men hits the small screen, a hand-drawn promo poster has been released by AMC.
Created by veteran British illustrator Brian Sanders - who worked on many famous ad campaigns in the 1960s - the image shows a typically preoccupied-looking Don Draper holding the hand of an unseen woman as he walks along a Manhattan street.

Speaking to the New York Times, Sanders said he knew about the show and admitted that it had transported him back into the past.
"What it did was take me right back, about 50 years," he said. "I almost wanted to reach for a cigarette, and I haven't had one for 30-odd years.
"The show is telling the history of advertising, and part of that story is about photography completely eclipsing illustration.
"The first [episode] I saw, I had such a déjà vu feeling of place and time. It wasn't just in New York that that was happening. It was here too."
The first episode of the new season will be broadcast in the UK on Sky Atlantic on 10 April.
