Madonna knows how to throw a good party - and the pop icon has been joined by famous friends including Kate Moss and Bono at her latest birthday bash.

The queen of pop invited friends and family to a private residence in Cannes for the swanky bash - and has given the rest of us a taste of the high life via Instagram.

One pic shows her cuddling up to Mossy as they crouch on the floor, and she captioned it: "Bow down B*tches! #whatitfeelslikeforagirl"

While another showed her flanked by a pretty topless lady, but that was removed from her feed by Instagram.

However she hit back at the social networking site with a pic of a guest with elaborate tailfeather costume, blowing a kiss at the camera.

She wrote: "Instagram can take away our nipples but they cant take away our fun!!!! #hypocrisy #unapologeticbirthdayb*tch"

Madge's kids Rocco, Lourdes, Mercy and David were also at the 1920s-themed party, along with magician David Blaine and designers DSquared2.
