Madonna has 'done a Julia Roberts' and posted a snap of herself on Instagram showing off her armpit hair.

Back in 1999, Roberts hit the headlines after flashing her underarm hair at the London premiere of Notting Hill, later defending her decision to go 'au naturel', explaining that her boyfriend at the time, Benjamin Bratt, found it a "turn on".

According to The Daily Mail, Madonna's strip of hair appears to be fake, as she posed in a lacy bra and bow tie for the photo.

Madonna is yet to confirm or deny that her underarm hair was real.

The star also hit the headlines this week after posting a snap of herself dressed as Game Of Thrones' Daenerys Targaryen, with Emilia Clarke - who plays the character - later praising her effort.
