Madonna Flashes Her Bottom Live In London
Queen of Pop's MDNA tour finally hits the UK...
The Hung Up singer has caused controversy in Europe by exposing parts of her body during live shows but limited herself in London to a brief flash of her bottom.
She opened the show with Girl Gone Wild and her latest album, MDNA, featured heavily in the two hour show. She played some of her classics though, with Papa Don't Preach, Express Yourself and Like A Prayer all getting fans up and dancing.
Meanwhile, Digital Spy has reported that Madonna's MDNA tour has made $49.5million from 417,448 tickets during its first 11 dates. The show at the Ramat Gan Stadium in Tel Aviv on May 31 made the singer $4.3million.
This dwarfs Lady GaGa's ticket sales so far this year – the singer has grossed $23.6million in her Born This Way Ball so far.
However, it has been confirmed that Madge is not intending to visit Australia on her current worldwide jaunt.
Plans to tour the country next year have been scrapped, with a spokesperson telling the Sydney Morning Herald: “Madonna's tour will end in South America in December as planned. That's all we can say”
The paper reports that stadiums had been booked in Sydney and Melbourne for Madonna's first tour in the country since 1993, but concert promoter Live Nation has confirmed the cancellation.
